The last 2018 – 2019 GFS Equipment Audit is Wednesday October 3. Contact the GFS Safety officer to book in on the day.
Please download the form from the Yachts – Racing Information page of the GFS Website and have it completed for the auditor. Courses, Sailing Instructions and GFS Safety Card (required) can also be downloaded from the Racing Information page.
Have the equipment laid out to allow the process to proceed smoothly.
Check the use-by dates of required items in the medical kit and provide a copy of your insurance for the auditor to sight.
Think about how you could retrieve a person overboard from the water.
